It is said that most Far Eastern Auspices are benevolent beings, well — something must've gone terribly wrong withSetsuna.Aethersight will reveal two shadowy tails accompanying her 'lone' snow-white one, a dead giveaway of her age and power — to whoever holds such knowledge, anyway.Always been a troublemaker — to say it lightly, ever since early years.
Setsuna doesn't shy away from causing chaos just for her own entertainment, behaving only when it benefits her — or has no other option left.Many call her evil and cold-hearted, and she may as well be, but the truth of her is far from a mere good & evil label.Setsuna is cold, calculative, ruthlessly logical — every move weighed, every word carefully picked. Her own well-being above any other; the only thing she truly cares about is herself and those few that managed to earn her respect.Everything she does and says has a calculated purpose.

Auspices don’t have surnames, but Setsuna dislikes giving out her real name. To better blend into human society, she adopted Kyuu as a surname — and whenever someone asks for her name, that’s what they get. Only a handful of people in Etheirys have ever heard the name "Setsuna" coming from her lips.Names are a powerful thing.

There are plenty of things Setsuna doesn't like — but if there's one thing she won't tolerate, it's broken promises, especially when she's the one betrayed.Despite the wrathful goblin that Setsuna is, one truth remains: if she makes a promise, she keeps it. No matter the cost, she'll see it through. Breaking a promise often brings harm upon herself in one form or another — and for that reason, the Auspice will never make one lightly.Any kind of promise — she takes it far too seriously. If someone makes her one, they’d better keep it.

Loyalty is something Setsuna doesn't offers lightly and despite being cold, cunning, calculative and ruthlessly logical, her loyalty is eternal once earned — there will be no hidden motives. In return, she expects the same.She rarely gives second chances, and doesn't stay where trust is broken.

Through her hundreds of years of existence, Setsuna has seen and endured every form of pain and grief life has to offer. Watching those she loved die of old age, witnessing mankind repeat the same mistakes again and again, the list goes on...Her pain far outweighed joy — and in the end, she succumbed to her ara-mitama.While her soul can be quelled and her ara-mitama soothed, this fox is far too gone — despite her relatively young age.
Her nigi-mitama will falter time and again, allowing her ara-mitama to resurface, triggered by even the slightest offense.The curse of a long, eternal life.

It's no surprise that someone who grows stronger with age might become a power-hungry maniac...She's full of herself, always striving for greater power — but she knows her limits. After all, a dead fox isn't exactly the picture of strength.
